FaxAgent is a hardware appliance built on an optimized Microsoft Windows Server based operating system. The application software is entirely web based. The appliance is shipped configured and ready to quickly fax enable your environment. The FaxAgent appliance is tested and certified for carrier level environments. No operating system or application software is required.
Easy Outlook Integration
Create, send, receive and manage faxes directly within Microsoft Outlook -- organize, forward and respond to your faxes exactly the same as email messages. Use the web delivery feature to reduce fax volume on your mail server by sending only email notifications with hyperlinks to access fax transmissions stored in the FaxAgent archive.
Document Archiving
FaxAgent maintains a secure history of all sent and received faxes. Users are able to easily access their own fax archive. Automatic content expiration allows administrators to manage storage needs. The standard appliance has the capacity to store over 12M fax pages and can easily be expanded.
Single Sign-On
FaxAgent includes integrated security options for Microsoft Active Directory, IBM Lotus Notes and other LDAP standard service providers. FaxAgent can
automatically create new accounts when users first logon to help with large scale deployments.
Fault Tolerant Architecture
FaxAgent is designed to be fault-tolerant and can be configured with one or more application servers to load-balance workloads and guarantee uptime.
FaxAgent servers can work with mainstream SANs, NAS storage servers or direct-attached disk solutions. FaxAgent uses a built-in workflow queueing engine to
handle even the most demanding transaction based environments.
Unlimited Users and Simple Pricing
FaxAgent uses a server based pricing model to simplify licensing. The system includes unlimited user accounts and system profiles. Axacore believes in a simple per concurrent fax transmission pricing model. You won't find a complicated list of add-on modules for Outlook, back-office integration or web viewers.
